Our infrastructures

Owners of our datacenters in France

As an IaaS provider, Ikoula masters the entire infrastructure chain. Ikoula can therefore offer high availability solutions thanks to its infrastructure ( disaster recovery and business continuity plans, public/private multi-site geographic clouds, etc.), as well as the high computing power required to host resource-hungry applications.

Ikoula owns two data centers totalling over 2,550 m² in eastern France, more than 50 km apart: IKDC01, Ikoula's main data center in Reims (51), and IKDC02, the second data center in Eppes (02).

Ikoula network

A connected network core

In addition to its data centers, Ikoula has 2 POPs (Points Of Presence) in the Paris area, which increase the network's connectivity to the external world. Our data centers and POPs are interconnected by 100 Gbps links, and thus form the core of the Ikoula network.

Our agreements with numerous operators and access providers, as well as the loop topology of our network, ensure one of the highest quality and availability on the market. Indeed, even in the event of a major incident on part of the network or at one of our operators/suppliers, this network resilience protects you from any repercussions. So you can rest assured that you'll be able to provide your customers with uninterrupted, high-quality service.

Ikoula network key points

A genuine peering policy

Ikoula currently has numerous peering agreements with major European infrastructure and network players. These numerous peerings enable you to bring the content of hosted applications as close as possible to your users, whatever their connection points. This system ensures optimal service, both in terms of availability and the speed of access to your data..

Totally redundant network architecture

The network is made up of upstreams to our operators : Telia, Cogent Communications, GTT, and public peerings at Equinix, FranceIX, AmsIX and Dec-IX. Our data centers and POPs are also linked by a DWDM multiplexed fiber optic loop. The network architecture on our datacenters is also redundant so that we are not dependent on a single piece of equipment in the event of failure or maintenance. The routing protocols used enable traffic to be directed automatically to guarantee network security, reliability and quality, even in the event of an incident..
