ISO 50001
Energy management systems

ISO 50001 certification attests to a process of continuous improvement aimed at more responsible energy management.
At IKOULA, the scope of the ISO 50001:2018 certification covers the hosting of IT equipment and the maintenance of IKOULA’s data centres in operational condition, in accordance with the multi-site certificate issued by Bureau Veritas Certification France.
This scope applies to the two facilities mentioned in the annex to the ISO 50001 certificate:
IKDC1 - Reims and IKDC2 - Eppes
As a reminder, the ISO 50001 standard defines a framework of requirements aimed at improving energy performance. According to ISO, this can be summarized as follows:
- Develop a policy for more efficient energy use,
- Set targets and objectives to implement this policy,
- Use data to better understand the issues relating to energy consumption and make appropriate decisions,
- Measure results,
- Review the effectiveness of the energy policy,
- Continuously improve energy management.
