What is Mantra?
The Mantra platform is designed to support your company's employees on a daily basis in all aspects of cyber threat prevention. It protects them at the right time by:
- Firstly, a preventive approach including user awareness via e-learning modules and training in the form of realistic phishing simulations,
- Secondly, a real-time alert and awareness approach boosted by the capabilities of AI, via its Smart Banners and its Browser Defender prevention modules, which will alert users even before they commit a compromising action (click, download, etc.).
4 independent but complementary and interconnectable modules
The Mantra platform is multilingual, so it can be deployed in any of your foreign subsidiaries. Thanks to it, your employees will be made aware of the risks incurred via the two main threat channels: email and browsing. And by using gamification and the active participation of your teams in the training process, your teams' buy-in is greatly improved, and so the effectiveness of the training is increased.
Why choose the Mantra solution? With the Mantra solution, you can achieve different security objectives more easily than with traditional tools or solutions.
With the Mantra solution, you can achieve different security objectives more easily than with traditional tools or solutions.
For example, Mantra will enable you to meet your obligations with regard to legal directives (e.g. NIS 2), the expectations of quality auditors (e.g. as part of an ISO 27001 audit) or the expectations of stakeholders: it is additional insurance in terms of the fight against cyber threats, meeting the requirements of customers before contracting, taking out or renewing cyber insurance.
In addition to compliance, the main aim is to reduce the risk of attack in a highly effective way. Internally, the solution will enable you to reduce quite drastically the rate at which your employees click on phishing emails (average drop in click rate of almost 90%), and also reduce the risk of threats via their browsers (the risk via browsers is divided by 10 on average). You'll be able to track team progress easily thanks to dashboards that record employees' progress through their training programme.
Technically speaking, the Mantra solution integrates easily into the most common business technology environments, including Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
You can also automate its operation so that the solution can run without requiring a lot of manual intervention from your IT teams. What's more, the solution is fully customizable: all the courses and tutorials can be modified in just a few clicks. You can adapt the texts or ‘jargon’ to suit your business environment, or even create your own courseware from scratch.
How does Mantra work?
E-learning module (Alex)
The Mantra platform has an e-learning module that operates via an interactive chat system, called Alex. Using mini-tutorials, the module explains to your employees in a fun and interactive way the issues associated with cyber-attacks and the best practices to adopt. The module can be easily integrated into your usual applications (Slack, Teams) or accessed directly from the browser.
Key features:
- An interactive and gamified conversational approach,
- Short, entertaining content,
- And native integration with their usual collaborative tools (such as Teams, Slack, web browsers) for a better user experience.
A comprehensive approach tailored to your compliance needs as:
- Essential security topics are covered, and best practices are shared (for example, the right password strategy, how to react to SMS phishing or ‘Smishing’, or GDPR),
- The content is updated regularly, with the addition of new attack typologies and new recommendations,
- Quizzes are integrated into each course, enabling you to check that your employees have fully understood and integrated the key points,
- And dashboards are produced in real time, making it easier for you to prepare your security audits.
A modular tool enabling you to:
- Define specific curricula for specific populations (business functions, for example),
- Create and customize courses easily and at will.
Phishing Simulation module
Mantra's ‘Phishing Simulation’ module enables you to train your users to detect cyber-attacks based on identity theft - also known as ‘Spear phishing’ or targeted phishing - and to measure the behaviour or reactions of your employees to these threats.
Key features:
- Send simulations automatically at an average rate of one email per user per month,
- Edit and update dashboards in real time,
- Dynamically adapt the level of difficulty of the emails sent to users to enable them to learn progressively,
- Or send tailor-made campaigns for very specific, customized scenarios, thanks to an unlimited manual campaign module available to you (in addition to the continuous mailings provided for natively by the algorithm and basic module).
Training in real-life conditions based on:
- Contextualized simulations linked to the company's environment, and targeted according to the user's role within the company (for example, linked to an accounting issue with a CFO),
- Tests on various compromising actions, including for example the theft of identifiers and/or passwords, the downloading of corrupted attachments, problems with permissions, etc,
- Or split mailings to avoid arousing suspicion.
An approach that encourages user adoption thanks to:
- A gamified, fun approach, actively involving the user,
- Providing a reporting button directly in the email client to make it easier for users to report phishing threats (giving you better visibility of attacks against your company),
- And micro-tutorials to follow in the event of risky behaviour or a ‘mistake’, for immediate ‘correction’ and learning.
Smart Banners module
Mantra has developed an intelligent, innovative real-time awareness and alert system based on incoming emails. This system is capable of detecting suspicious emails as soon as they arrive and even before they are opened, and visually notifying the user of the danger involved via a banner.
Key features:
- Dashboards allow you to track the types of attacks detected by category and by volume.
User side:
- 3 types of user alerts are provided, depending on how dangerous the incoming email is. They are easily recognizable thanks to a system of colour codes (grey, orange, red) that pre-qualify the threat level of the email received. These alerts detect potential:
- - Employee identity theft,
- - Company identity theft,
- - Identity theft of a contact,
- - Identity theft of a brand or tool,
- - Suspicious attachments,
- - Suspicious file transfers,
- - President fraud and other financial fraud attacks,
- - Or even illegitimate password change requests.
Compatibility:
- Module dedicated to email hosted on Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
Browser Defender module
Mantra has also thought about security when surfing the web, and has designed a real-time awareness and alert system whenever a user is likely to encounter a threat or risk of cyber-attack while browsing the Internet.
Key features:
- Dashboards track:
- - Fraudulent domains detected,
- - Password thefts,
- - Password reuse,
- - Password complexity,
- - Dangerous downloads by type,
- - And installed third-party applications and the permissions granted to them.
User side:
- Alerts are sent in real time to prevent risky behaviour, such as when:
- - Suspicious password submission,
- - Reuse of password,
- - Or suspicious downloads.
Compatibility:
- Module for Chromium browsers.
