Founded in January 2003, Micrologiciel is a publisher of software solutions marketed in SaaS mode, aimed at VSE/SMEs, E-tailers, Retailers and franchise networks.
Through its solutions, more than 3,000 customers manage the day-to-day content of their websites (Micrologiciel solution), online stores (Micrologiciel e-commerce), or retail network sites (WEB-Enseignes, Web-to-Store and Store-locator solutions). Specializing in the world of web, publishing and Internet content management, the perfect availability of its WEB-SaaS infrastructure is one of the key points of its offer. Michel Marcombe, Micrologiciel's Sales Director and co-founder, gives us his feedback.

How long have you been working with Ikoula?
We've been working with Ikoula since 2003, that's almost 22 years now.
How did you hear about Ikoula?
We got to know Ikoula through two of our associates. They were working in the tourism and travel sector at the time, and were looking for a hosting provider capable of meeting the availability and service requirements of the industry.
Our partners had already been satisfied with Ikoula's services, so we decided to extend the partnership and have remained loyal ever since. The question of the hosting provider never really arose.
We can therefore say that Ikoula has seen us grow...just as we have seen Ikoula grow.
What services do you use?
When Micrologiciel was launched, we opted for dedicated servers from the Express Hosting division. As our business grew rapidly in the first 6 months of existence, we realized that we needed something better suited to the growing flow of data we had to manage.
Since then, we've switched to outsourcing some forty dedicated servers from the former Infogérance Enterprise Services (IES) division, which gives us more room for maneuver and relieves us of all IT machine administration tasks, enabling us to better meet our customers' needs and expectations.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your collaboration with Ikoula?
Absolutely. In fact, it's more of an event than an anecdote, since we experienced “live” - and, to be honest, with a great deal of stress at the time - the “physical” move of our servers from Paris to Reims when Ikoula acquired its latest-generation datacenter. This maneuver created an “intense” workload and pressure for our technicians, who were in almost constant contact with the Ikoula teams, because as I was saying, the availability of our infrastructure is really what our business is based on.
The transfer went very smoothly, and without incident. We can say that, in addition to seeing each other grow, we're also sharing some strong and memorable moments!
The relationship with Ikoula is going well?
The answer is an unequivocal yes! That's why we've stayed loyal for the past 20 years. And when we do need to call on Ikoula's support for a problem with one of our systems, fortunately on very rare occasions, Ikoula always responds with the same level of responsiveness and efficiency.
For us, Ikoula is much more than a supplier; it's a partner who has been with us in our development from the outset, and responds whenever we call on it.
